..I kinda feel like a douche for forgetting an important anniversary this weekend, namely the 6th year since my mum's death...and yet I don't. Yeah she was important to me, but at the same time I really hated how strict she was, and I know for a fact many things I take for granted now - expos, my tattoos, hell even having people round the house and my laptop/internetz - are stuff she would never have let me done if she was still here. And...damn, I am a douche.

Anyway, srs moment over with, the weekend was epic win for the most part, spent Friday night and Saturday with Loomy and then spent today with a guy I met a wee while ago who recognised my Naruto badges (lol yay for fandoms bringing more geektards together :P) He wanted to go to the Dungeons..so we did even if I was full of fail and felt sick after going on the drop ride, which is weird considering it was my 3rd time on it, once before and once in London

And yay, I has a week off now, which is always good. And at least this time I don't have any plans, so a whole week of being able to sleep in and not do anything :D

Only good thing about today is that I managed to get the 2 weeks off in February so it's off to America for me again.

Everything else has just plain sucked - work, coming home and immediately getting asked by Andy to fix the hoover(!) because a 29 year old man CANNOT put the bag back in himself *eyeroll* and my wireless acting up to make it appear that I'm not connected even when I so obviously am.

Thank fuck the weekend and my week off is getting closer.

Work was piss today, buut at least it brings me one day closer to the weekend lol. Felt a bit better when I got home and finally put up my haul of Final Fantasy posters from the expo. Now I'm just watching a Fatal Frame 3 walkthrough on youtube. Fatal Frame is an awesome series, even if I am Teh Suck at them. I get too panicky when the ghosts attack lol.

Work was kinda fail today, as we were told to dress in black for halloween. ...So I just turned up in my normal clothes XD Working tomorrow, which kinda sucks too.

I have to admit...I really <3 my new haircut lol, it's so short and shiny *_* It's down to my shoulders, but it looks so different now that I got it straightened too. It was also dead cheap too, which is win. I tried to get a photo but alas my camera batteries died. I WILL get one up online when I get to London though, so sorry, you're gonna get picspammed from Friday to Sunday :P

It was ok, apart from me almost giving myself a heart attack climbing the steps to get to the flat lol.

Also phoned up another place for another viewing on Thursday afternoon JESUS THE EXPO IS SO CLOSE jfklfjkdsalfjasl even if I had to phone the guy up and he couldn't understand my accent at all :|

Mm kinda thinking of getting my hair cut short next week, seeing as how I'll be getting plenty of munnies this week - both my wages and my holiday pay. I know the majority of it'll be going to teh expo (8 days til we leave for London \o/) but yeah. It's getting long enough to be a pain in the ass again.

Kinda dreading my last 2 days at work before I get my week off - yeah only 2 days but still, half 6 til half 4 both days donotwant O_O

Still felt pretty crappy after the weekend so phoned up sick lol. It was pretty awesome tbh, apart from the cousin who was supposed to be taking us to our hotel got so pissed he kept falling asleep and because of the marathon going on in Birmingham city centre we missed our coach back up to Edinburgh >_>. Lucky for us we managed to get tickets for the next one up, but still.

Not much else to add, except now I only have 3 days left of work before I'm on holiday, and it's only 10 days until the expo madness starts \o/

Note to self - don't ever think of playing a certain game at a certain point in the story at work again. You really got lucky that no-one walked by to see you laughing so hard. And just imagine the look on their faces if you had to explain you were laughing at the bizarre scene of your blond spiky character getting gang raped squashed by some..er, eager men in a brothel.

Good news - my AC!Cloud stuff turned up today \o/ Again...so many belts and buckles. Lol it's a fetishist's dream *shakes fist at Nomura* However it was totally worth it when I wandered downstairs to see Andy's reaction.

I'm thinking of buying 358/2 Days (aka the new Kingdom Hearts game out tomorrow) so I'll have plenty of entertainment on the coach trips at least.
